I got word of this in-store via Paul Aaaron & Grown Folks Music a few hours before. I rarely leave the house on Sundays, but since the Falcons were the Sunday night game and the Eagles were not on TV locally I had a few hours to spare. N’Dambi says she was riding out to UGK when she was inspired to write this song. Ironically, when I first heard the song the hook reminded me of Slum Village. N’Dambi noticed there were kids in the spot and attempted to sing the clean version, but the parents demanded the uncensored version which N’Dambi kindly obliged.

I want to see how one of the promises of the hereafter is depicted in the exhibition at Fernbank Museum of History.
